The Brother’s Live In Program, also known as BLIP, is a 4-day program, where the live inners can witness the life of the De La Salle Brothers as they live their regular community lifestyle.
As live inners, we started our live in program with a tour in brother’s house and a Welcoming Prayer service to guide us all throughout the program. After this, we had our dinner while having chit chats with the brothers. The night ended with a session with Br. Dan, where he talks about the Faith core value.
On the next day, we had our morning prayer and meditation with the brothers, did our schoolworks, and played table tennis. In the evening, Br. Ivan had a session with us about the Service core value.
On our Saturday schedule, we had our final session of the last core value, with Br. Henry who talked about the Communion core value. The aspirants and contacts of Iligan City came and we had prayer service and faith sharing with them. We also played sports, had our anticipated mass, dinner, and lastly, our community gathering. We, together with the contacts, aspirants and the Brothers played games and bonded together.
On our last day of the program, we had our session with aspirants where they shared the reasons for why they joined the BLIP in the past years and the aspirancy program.
During these four days of the program, we, the live inners really had fun and learned lessons from the aspirants, contacts and the Brothers.
