SINGAPORE - On 11 September morning from 6.30am to 12.30pm, 74 participants made up of pupils and their family members came together to share their time & effort in blessing others through volunteering in the SJIJ PTA Family Community Service Activity at the Willing Hearts!

Willing Hearts operates a kitchen run by volunteers that prepares, cooks, and distributes 11,000 meals each day for 365 days a year, for the elderly, the disabled, low-income families, children from single-parent families or otherwise poverty-stricken families.

How do I find the right words to accurately encapsulate the experience?

It was an eventful 2 week journey which continues till today as fellow participants keep in touch and continue to support each other.

THAILAND - The Lasallian educators from the four La Salle schools in Thailand: La Salle Bangkok, La Salle Chanthaburi, La Salle Nakhonsawan, and La Salle Sangklaburi, have undergone intensive and fruitful teachers and staff formation programs under Mr. Michael Warin Chiapaiboon in the past months.

SINGAPORE - This year marks the 170th anniversary of the Lasallian Brothers' landing in Singapore and Asia in 1852.

Students, alumni and staff of the Lasallian schools in Singapore took part in the remaking of ‘We Are Lasallian’. The song reminds us that we are part of a much larger Lasallian community. We celebrate the gift of Lasallian education and hope that we can inspire future generations to continue the good work of serving the last, the lost and the least! Time flies. It has already been 10 months since I have moved here to Ethiopia and a lot has happened since.

It was still before the Pandemic when I chanced across Armin having his haircut in the 1911 community in Taft, Manila. I pushed my head into the small crack of the door and said hello. In the normal and usual Armin fashion when he needs something he said, “Hans! Can I speak with you for a short while?”
