Lasallian Day In Two Primary/elementary Schools In Singapore

With 197 primary six students in St Stephen’s School and 240 students in St Joseph’s Institution Junior, 5 Brothers and 10 Lynksters (Lasallian Youth) as well as Lasallian secondary students helped in the Lasallian Day programmes on 27 October and 30 October at St Stephen’s and on 5 November and 6 November at St Joseph’s Institution Junior as part of their graduating activities.

HLS Alumni Featured In National Magazine

JAPAN - Here in Hakodate La Salle (HLS), day by day we find good news coming from among our former students. This month, in one of the national popular magazines, three of our alumni appeared. They are two years younger than me, that is, they are 69. From the right, Mr. Kikuchi, is a lawyer, who just finished as President of the National Lawyers Association. The one in the middle is Mr. Nakagawa, a surgeon, and he has been elected President of the National Surgeon Association a few months ago. These days he is often on national TV news because of COVID-19. On the left is Mr. Makita.

Dato Br. Anthony Rogers Launches TXJ Online

MALAYSIA - This blog of “The Xaverian Journey” (TXJ) was launched virtually by Dato’ Brother Anthony Rogers FSC on 3 December 2020 - the Feast Day of St Francis Xavier, the great missionary, who is the Patron Saint of St Xavier ’s Institution. Lasallian International Experience

The Lasallian InterNational Experience (LINE) is a virtual gathering of 239 students from 22 schools across LEAD. It is a 4 week formation programme which guides students to draw parallels between their lives and the life of John Baptist de La Salle. This programme was initiated by St Joseph's Institution, Singapore as part of their Global Education Programme and was developed by the Youth Coordinators, Isaac Stephen (Malaysia), Nikki Chan (Hong Kong), Neil Juntado (Philippines), Br Matthew Thawatchai FSC (Thailand) and Ed-Linddi Ong (Singapore).

38th District Council Meeting (DC38)

The LEAD District Council members gathered online on December 17, 2020 for the 38th District Council Meeting (DC38). There was complete attendance despite members being in different locations and timezones across East Asia.

The meeting started with the LEAD 10th Anniversary Prayer, followed by a short moment of silence to remember the two recently departed Affiliated members of the Institute, Cardinal Soter Fernandez and Mr. Diotay Lopue.
