Br. Andre Joins Simbang Gabi

PHILIPPINES - Br Andre Labelle FSC, the oldest Brother in the District, joined many Filipinos in their yearly tradition of the Simbang Gabi (Dawn/Night Masses) at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.

He is committed to complete the “novena” leading up to Christmas. This was also his first outing from the confines of the community for many months. Community transmission is low, he has received his booster shot, and the venue is not crowded and has good ventilation. (Text: Br. Sockie de la Rosa; Photo: Br. Aikee Esmeli FSC)

HIBC Canonical Visit

PHILIPPINES - December 03, 2021. The members of the Holy Infancy Brothers’ Community (HIBC) had their virtual Canonical Visit and dialogue with LEAD Brother Visitor, Br. Armin Luistro FSC. It was an afternoon of sharing insights of experiences being the smallest Brothers’ community in the Philippines. Though HIBC is the smallest, it is also the youngest community where each member has vital roles to play in each area of the ministry.

Aspirants’ Dialogue With The Brothers

Reflection by Aspirant Enzo Ferraris

In the words of Br. Mandy Dujunco, “A vocation doesn’t start when you meet your first De La Salle Brother, it instantly starts when you first came out of your mother’s womb”.
Vocation starts when we are being molded and being equipped to become persons with compassion and kindness in our hearts and minds. The dialogue with the Brothers made me realize a lot of things about a Brother’s vocations story, commitment, and the choices they make as they journey through life.
