Interlasalle 2020: Embrace The Legacy, Uplift The Spirit

“Go, La Salle!” Under the blaring heat of the sun or the yellow lights of the Coliseum or perhaps under the cool shade of the covered court, one cannot miss hearing those three simple words. In the recently concluded InterLaSalle 2020, those words actually became something of a joke; because of the irony that “La Salle” is the name of 14 other schools! Yet, we cannot just help but wonder how beautiful and significant those words are, given the narrative. This is how InterLaSalle 2020 went by and this is its story.

2nd LEAD Vocation Team Meeting

The 2nd LEAD Vocation Team meeting was held on February 24-26 at Inya View Hotel, Yangon. On the first day, Br. Antonio Cubillas FSC was present during the meeting to have some discussions and clarifications with the Team. He encouraged the Team to have two more members (one Lay and one La Salle Sister) in order to have a wider understanding of the vocation promotion in LEAD.

On February 25, the team reviewed the documents they produced during the meeting in Thailand last October 19, 2019. They al so planned for the programs for 2020-2021.

Lasallian Formation Center Canonical Visit

Br. Armin Luistro FSC, the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD) Brother Visitor, had his canonical visit with the Lasallian Formation Center last February 21-22. During his visit, he met with the members of the community for a short conversation to further their accompaniment. Final Profession Of Vows And 25th Anniversary Of Religious Life

On February 29, 2020, the Sector of Thailand held the Final Profession of Vows of Br. John Niran Suksankrasin FSC and the 25th Anniversary of Religious life of Br. Alphonso Danai Kingkan FSC at the St. John Baptist de La Salle Chapel, La Salle School Bangkok, Thailand. The Mass was led by a Redemptorist priest together with four other priests; three of them were Old Boys of La Salle Chotiravi Nakhonsawan.
