The Hong Kong Lasallian Family recently received a significant heritage donation—a century-old prayer book printed in Hong Kong—marking a meaningful addition to the community’s 150th anniversary celebration.

Brother Herman was born in 1913 near the small village of Bruree, County Limerick, in Ireland. He was one of 9 children and received the name Michael Joseph at baptism. The family ran a good dairy farm.
Last 30 September 2025, we marked a historic 2-in-1 milestone for the La Salle Botanical Gardens (LSBG): the very first LSBG, Inc. Board of Trustees Meeting and the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Phase 1 of development.
Last 6 and 7 September 2025, Br. JJ Jimenez FSC (LEAD Visitor) visited Universitas Katolik De La Salle Manado (UKDLSM), Indonesia.

Held at the Hee Lai Ton Restaurant in Section 13 in Petaling Jaya, was attended by ex-students, teachers and special guests include Brother Bush representing La Sale Provincialate, Mr Michael Simon, President of The Malaysian Federation of Lasallian Alumni Association (MFOLSA).
The LEAD Leadership Team visited the Sector of Thailand last 9-11 September 2025. During the visit, they were able to meet with the Brothers of Thailand, teachers from the four Lasallian schools in the Sector, and student leaders from La Salle College Bangkok.
Joining the Jubilee of Youth in Rome was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that still amazes me. When I reflect on it now, Pope Francis’ message for the Jubilee Year of 2025, “Spes non confundit” (“Hope does not disappoint”), really resonates with me.
